Frequently Asked Questions

  • We keep our packs small and well-matched, typically hiking with 6-8 dogs per handler. This allows us to give each pup the attention they need while keeping the group safe and balanced.

  • Yes! We handle all pick-ups and drop-offs, so you don’t need to be home.

    • Pick-up: Between 7:00 – 9:00 AM, we swing by in our fully equipped dog-friendly vehicle. If needed, we can access your pup using a key, code, or other agreed-upon method.

    • Drop-off: Between 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, we bring your tired, happy pup back home.

We make sure every dog is safely secured during transport and settle them in comfortably when we drop them off.

  • Possibly! We go on real adventures—which means splashing in puddles, rolling in the grass, and enjoying all the fun of the great outdoors. We do our best to towel off muddy paws before drop-off, but if your pup loves a good swim or zooms through the mud, we recommend keeping a towel by the door just in case!

  • We take introductions slow and steady to make sure every pup feels safe and comfortable.

    1. Pre-hike assessment: Before joining a pack, we chat with you to learn about your dog’s personality, recall, and comfort level.

    2. Gradual introduction: New dogs start on leash or long-line walks with the group, allowing them to observe and interact at their own pace.

    3. Careful matching: We only place dogs in groups that match their energy level and play style to ensure a positive experience.

  • Safety is our top priority! We only allow dogs off-leash in secure areas if they have demonstrated solid recall. New dogs start on leash or long-line until we’re confident they’re ready for more freedom.

    We also use:
GPS tracking collars for added peace of mind (if needed)
Positive reinforcement to strengthen recall skills
A trusted call-back routine to keep dogs engaged and responsive

We take every precaution to ensure pups stay close and safe while still enjoying their adventure.

  • Not every dog is a social butterfly, and that’s okay! We:

    • Respect each dog’s boundaries and comfort levels

    • Only group dogs who are compatible in play style and temperament

    • Offer solo walks for dogs who prefer their own space

    • Provide gentle guidance to help dogs feel more at ease in a group setting

If your pup needs space or has specific quirks, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate and find the best fit for them!
